3 A.M. stars the very popular Rannvijay Singh who plays the character of Sunny and is a famous reality show host in the movie. The story falls in the much experimented with horror genre. The film begins with Sunny proposing to the love of his life Sarah played by AninditaNayar. Sarah is a journalist who was working on a project to unveil the secrets of the haunted places in Mumbai. However, soon she was found hanged in one of the haunted sites called Rudra Hills and what was even stranger was that Sunny dreamt of Sarah apologising and saying goodbye to him before he was informed of her death.
